I stayed here for 4 nights. The room is spacious and the balcony is facing the lake. The hotel located at a small town with many wooden swiss type traditional houses. The easiest transportation to go to Interlaken is by bus. The distance between the bus station with the hotel is about 5 minutes walking. They clean your room daily... More

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June. We had a room with a wonderful view and a little balcony. Everything was clean and tidy, fruit and bottled water was replenished each day. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast and one evening meal there. There is no air conditioning so if you like a... More

16,June 2014 Advertized prices morphed to 190 Swiss francs, but I booked anyway based on other reviews We were not greeted, nor welcomed in any way. A beer+ soft drink was 9.50 francs. The waiter was not friendly either. There are now 2 dogs, one baby and one noisy 2yr old so the owners may be too exhausted to welcome... More

This is a great little hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room overlooked the lake and had a nice balcony. The staff was very helpful and all spoke English. The village is pleasant to stroll through and the lake is gorgeous. If the weather is nice the terrace is a great place for a meal overlooking the lake.... More

If you want to spend your holidays in a traditional swiss chalet in a beautiful setting, this is the hotel to choose. Rooms with a view, kind staff and nice restaurant. Fresh fruit and water to receive you. Don't expect luxury, specially in the bathroom, but a clean and cosy room. Very near Interlaken and Jungfrau, but in a beautiful... More

Super relaxing village, best scenic view ever, staff are very friendly like one family, very helpful, clean place, everything helped to make an unforgettable vacation, the only two cons are: last bus from interlaken leaves at 8 pm, and hotel reception closes at 11 pm! But these didnt affect our plans anyway! Btw, dont forget to ask for transportation card... More

If you are visiting the Jungfrau region (Interlaken) of Switzerland, which in itself is majestic, you may really want to stay in this lovely area. I felt like I was dropped into a dream. Right on the Lake, gorgeous views and beautiful prospects. The proprietor, Susanne, was extremely accomodating and lovely. There is a very good restaurant as well, so... More

My family & I stayed here for 2 nights in a deluxe lakeside view room which was absolutely stunning. The views over lake Brienz were stunning and the hotel itself very typical of Swiss pensions. My only critism would be that there was no kettle in our room and having a young daughter with us who was in bed by... More

A memorable location literally on the waterfront of Lake Brienz. Everything about this place is just right and if I could award the staff six stars I would. In our short stay this will remain as the memory; personally I would advise driving straight through Interlaken itself, which has the feel of a tourist trap. We ate in Interlaken twice,... More
