Compliments to the chef firstly, amazing food! Had an awesome stay here, great people, the hotel is lovely and has its own chalet charm to it. Fantastic out door area for socialising where some obvious love has gone in to the garden. 2 min walk to a grocery store and the main train station. Gorgeous little village to stay in

I stayed here for 2 nights and everything was great, good view, clean room, comfort bed (i slept so well), nice breakfast, and great service from hotel staff. There are 2 mini marts near the hotel, really comfortable. Local people are so kind and nice. It's very closed to the train station, a train to Jungfrau. Thank you Expat Explore... More

We spent two nights here on an Expat Explore tour. The renovation is amazing. They have modernized the hotel without sacrificing the old world charm. We had wonderful meals and the staff was awesome. We had a suite on the first floor, overlooking the gardens and it was beautiful!!!!!

This is a very charming hotel with spectacular views from the rear. The rooms are full of charm with quirks. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. There is the advantage or a beautiful garden and friendly hosts.

A typical swiss hotel - practical, nice service, useful rooms, but lacking a bit of charme. We used this place for one night before hiking in the mountains.....it was fit for that purpose. Not sure if i would spend a whole vacation there...rooms are not more than average, breakfast was ok. Would recommend the hotel for a stopover, but not... More

This is a « do you want the good news or the bad news » story. Firstly, the good news: the hotel is very conveniently situated – literally a few minutes from the Wilderswil train station – thus it is in a more convenient situation than the other hotels which are further up the hill (in Wilderswil Dorf – the... Only stayed one night and it was more than enough. Horribly overpriced for what it is - everything in the rooms is old, worn out and falling apart. Couldn't sleep all night as the beds squeak every time you move. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours. The only good thing about the hotel is its lockation. Would... More

On arriving at the hotel you become aware that it is a little diferrent, a disserted reception for starters. After a brief search of the ground floor the owner appeared and booked us in. She offered a drink so we had a beer she then disappeared again so we were left to search for our room, which we found on... More
