We found this wonderful B&B by pure luck and what a find it was. Located in the peaceful countryside, we enjoyed kayaking, watching eagles feed in the yard, CLEAN comfortable accommodations, Riley the chocolate lab, and GREAT hosts Pete and Debbie. Marvelous breakfasts, traditional or English (marvelous). Debbie pointed us to the best sights in the area and on our... More

We had the great pleasure of spending 2 nights at Sea Kindly with gracious hosts Pete, Deb, and "Riley" the lab! Their home is beautiful and a lovely location on the water. It's not more then 15 min drive to New Glasgow for evening meals of which they can make several recommendations. Pete &Deb love talking with guests, making you... More

This cottage-like sanctuary is a little off the beaten path but very much worth the trip. The hosts, Pete and Debbie, (and Riley, the chocolate lab) could not have been more welcoming and kind. Immediately, they may you feel like you're part of the family. We were asked to join the family group over a cup of tea before retiring.... More

Here's a lovely, peaceful spot to sit and relax. We only stayed one night on our way to PEI but could easily have stayed a week if our plans could have change. It was fantastic to watch Pete feed the nesting eagle nearby and hear its eaglets cry with delight when the food arrived! Once in a lifetime opportunity. Thanks... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Sea Kindly for one night after returning from a trip to Cape Breton and had a great time there. We stayed in the Bunks and Bowknots room which features a nautical theme and has a beautiful sea view. From the breakfast table, we saw bald eagles, squirrels and a variety of smaller birds. Activitywise,... More

Good isolated property some distance off the road on top of a small hill. The owner came out to greet me upon arrival and insisted on carrying my luggage to the room. A spacious room at the rear with its own on suite bathroom, overlooking the lawn to trees and the sea. Immediately made welcome and introduced to others already... More

Hospitality, warmth and lol British humour...wished I'd booked a longer stay. O well, next time! Peter and Debbie are a great combo. Make sure you ask Peter if he would hoist some Herring onto a feeding platform for the benefit of the Eagles. You will gasp involuntarily at its enormous power and grace. Thank you Peter and Debbie. Also, so... More

We were there with one other couple. The hosts (a couple and a dog) were very friendly and helpful. This is a lovely house with very nice rooms and a good breakfast. We especially enjoyed the conversations, watching Pete feed the eagles, and the loan of two kayaks (the house is on a lake and they had four or five... More

Start with the hosts, the friendliest people you will find. Very helpful with making your visit to the area the best it can possibly be. They know the area well and can offer all sorts of suggestions on things to see and do. The accomodations are great. Their breakfast is served up to whatever you want. And to top it... More

We have been travelling the eastern and northern shores of Nova Scotia along the shore route. On our 5th night we were blessed to meet Debbie, Pete and Riley and spend the night in their beautiful B&B overlooking the Northumberland Strait. Our hosts were very gracious and before retiring, we joined them for some conversation and local history. The room... More
