Robert & Lesley made us extremely welcome excellent breakfast and even better scones and tea/coffee when we arrived after myself and 2 friends had a hard days cycling. Secure place for bikes was important.

My girlfriend and I spent 1 night here in March before heading to Glentress mountain biking the next day. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and were offered tea and biscuits by Bob who was a great host. The room we stayed in was lovely, great value for money and the breakfast was also gorgeous.. lots of choice of... More

After a recommendation from my cycling Dad, I had a lovely one-night stay in the Blue Room - everything was supremely comfortable (even the chair in my room was perfect for reading or knitting), the power shower was blissful, and the breakfast was excellent. Plenty of walking in the area - and I went for a gloriously stunning run down... More

We love this B&B, a warm welcome for Lesley and Bob with tea and scones on arrival, much needed after a day at Glentress. There is a secure shed in the back garden to keep the bikes. The rooms are very comfortable and ours had a great shower. There is a good choice for breakfast, for those that cannot mange... More

Spotlessly clean, good shower, comfy bed, good breakfast (including plenty of choice - try the omelette with smoked fish, excellent) and friendly hosts. What more can you want? We'll definitely go back.

I was visiting Innerleithen for work to visit a knitwear factory and I came across Backcroft B&B online. I liked the look of the website and Lesley sounded lovely when I spoke to her on the phone so decided to book it. I wasn't disappointed. The room was very comfortable & the breakfast 'Kedgeree' was delicious with fresh coffee. I... More

Two of us on a cycling tour stayed one night here. Lesley was lovely - fun, engaging and friendly. She stowed our bikes in a secure shed in the garden. The bedrooms were large, very comfortable and everything was immaculate. A great "Full Scottish" breakfast. Innerleithen has little to offer, with limited eating places (not sure that I could recommend... More

What a fantastic guest house. As cyclists, we were welcomed with tea & biscuits and a reassuring lock up shed for our bikes. The room & large shower were fab. We could recommend eating at the Traquair Arms for evening meal - LARGE portions! Thank-you Bob & Lesley X P.S Lesley..get that bike!
