Very comfortable rooms, decent food but the staff were the highlight. Myself and a colleague were working locally and booked in on Friday evening. The Northern is the best hotel in Brechin, which isn't saying much since Brechin only has 2 hotels (the other is the Caledonian, don't stay there unless you're really on a budget). This is a lovely little hotel. The decor is fresh and stylish, the rooms comfortable and the food is great. Most important of all, the people are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
