A true gem. Such a warm welcome. Such a beautiful setting. SUCH delicious food. A peaceful, serene sanctuary. A wonderful way to spend the monsoon on Goa. Everything is put together with such style, such attention to detail and such love.

This is my 3rd time at Casa Susegad. It's home from home. The food, the rooms, the comfortable bed, the staff and the new range of cocktails make this a difficult place to leave. It's ideally located & very central to all the wonderful places to visit. Being in Goa during this season was a new experience for me &... More

Been twice which says it all. Recommended it to friends umpteen times. Lovely lovely people, incredible original surroundings, superb food and the best place to relax completely. Casa Susegad is real, earthy, luxury and unique. The Casa Susegad 'family' are welcoming, warm, devoted and loving. Thank you Carole & Norman and hope to see you again in the not too... More

My introduction to India was Casa Susegad, in unspoiled Loutolim in Goa and the bar was then set very high. I arrived in January and was collected by the driver, Ram Das who was trustworthy, gracious and knowledgeable. The house sits in lush Goan jungle, fed by the run off from the Western Ghats. It's actually a little embarrassing to... More

It is a tad late in the day cause we visited CS in Jan 2012 (April 2013 is a dummy date for TripAdvisor to accept my delayed review). Consulting Tripadvisor, I landed up at CS with my husband. Overall, we felt that the place was expensive for what was on offer and did not live up to our expectations. A... More

Fairly close to the airport and beaches, this small, delightful hotel is the perfect way to spend your last day and night in Goa. The rooms are large, comfortable and full of interesting objects - as is the house itself. The pool and gardens are delightful, and the food and service excellent. Unfortunately, the owners were away when we were... More

We spent a wonderful week at Casa Susegad and loved every minute. Loutolim is a quiet village with lovely walks through the streets lined with Portuguese houses. Casa Susegad has been beautifully restored by Norman and Carole. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and cleaned every day. We had our meals served on our terrace. Joanita's food is delicious. We... I was incredibly impressed by this boutique small hotel/homestay which gave me a chance to see a little of life away from the beaches of Goa. Ideal as a first or last stop for the airport due to its great location in a small village. The warmth of the welcome from Norman and Carole set the tone for my 3... More

My family stayed at Casa Susegad in January and we had a lovely time, the rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms very spacious with lovely hot showers, the pool area surrounded by trees is very relaxing and we enjoyed the best cocktails I have experienced in India whilst watching monkeys playing in the trees.
