My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in October during the Truffle Festival. From the minute we arrived, we had smiles on our faces! We thought the place was just beautiful, with plenty of charm. The staff was super friendly from check-in to the wait staff at dinner and breakfast. We had booked a junior suite and when they... More

We really enjoyed our time at Villa Tiboldi, especially our dinner there. Breakfasts were also amazing. The views are incredible, but they should work on: - the very hard and uncomfortable beds - plumbing (water would cut in and out during showers) - signage to the property (very hard to find without a GPS)

We stayed at Villa Tiboldi for our honeymoon and upon arrival we were both happy that we chose to stay here. The views over the vineyards were amazing and the general setting was stunning. Our room was well-appointed upon first viewing, but there were some things that unfortunately made our stay uncomfortable. We stayed for three nights and we were... More

We enjoyed the view of the vineyards, etc., but this didn't quite make up for the flaws of the room itself: - the beds and even pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable and I didn't manage to get a single good night's sleep (I typically woke up early feeling pain) - water pressure is hit and miss; at one time... Breathtaking location in the middle of the Roero wine region almost equidistant from Barolo and Barbaresco. This small family owned hotel was the perfect setting for our virgin voyage to Piemonte. The views are so picturesque I felt like I was taking the same photo over and over but didn't want to miss yet another perfect view of the valley.... More

A very beautiful country hotel. We stayed in the more rustic vineyard annex, a caretakers cottage a few hundred yards from the main building. So we didn't experience the elegance and views of rooms in the hotel, which looked fabulous in the pictures. Dinner was posh with excellent service and quality library wines from the estate's owners' extensive holdings, we... More

Piedmont is known for its wines, but there is a little secret nestled amongst the wine grapes of the Malvira’ vineyard. Skip the more famous wine towns in the Piedmont and instead head to Villa Tiboldi. This is a place of understated elegance and luxury. Upon arrival, you are instantly awed by the verdant views of the seemingly unending vineyards.... More

I finally have the time to write about my beautiful and excellent food and wine trip to Piedmont. This is a place where tourist don't like to go. It maybe good or bad for me but I found this is the best place I have visited in Italy. I have seen the big cities which is a must but for... More

This mansion provided a great experience and good location to explore the Piedmont wine country. The wine and cheese reception was delightful and a good introduction for both the property and the area. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony with a view of the vineyards. The room could have used some updating for sure, but... More

I had a lovely stay at Villa Tiboldi and would stay there again. The family owned villa feels more like an intimate upscale home versus a typical hotel. And that's what I loved about it. I had a well appointed room in the main villa looking out to the front of the villa facing the wine vineyards. The room was... More
