Nice onsen and ski hotel. We stayed one night for a stopover and to enjoy the onsen (hot spring). Indeed a couple of nice indoor and outdoor pools with good mountains views of surrounding area. Well maintained despite age and great hospitality as you would expect from Japanese standard. Great dinner including suziyaki, shabubu and omakase (Chief selection) sets with... More

Just only 1 night spending in here, but incredible view of onsens and helpful service make an unforgettable memory. Hotel do provide shuttle bus service from Karuizawa station 2 times a day (8.30 Hrs. and 13.30 Hrs.)which is able to help you save journey cost of public bus @ JPY 2890. Room is very comfortable and clean, above all it... More

Free hotel shuttle pickup near Karuizawa train station, please make seat reservation in advance during peak season. The reception staff are friendly. Outdoor baths with scenic view is the best part of the hotel. We stayed in room at South Wing, room is spacious, twin beds with a sofa and small table. Dinner at Japanese restaurant was very average and... More

This hotel has a very nice outdoor bath ( rotenburo ) with powdery-blue water, including a mixed bath that couples or families can share. For that alone I enjoyed the trip, no doubt, but don't go expecting big comfy rooms XD . At least with our deal, sleeping separately was the only option (unless you want to relive college days... We booked this hotel expecting this to be one of the hotels in the Prince hotel group, but was quite disappointed with the room size and the facilities. rooms are too cramped and zero ventilation. but the onsen was very good . would not recommend to stay at this hotel but could visit to use the onsen

Lacking time to sit in front of PC for web search, we called up hotels to book a room in Manza :we were desperate to be away from Tokyo for the long week-end. Manza, because it is known for the quality of hot spring. We paid some 25,000 yen as regular room charge only rate, planning to eat a la... More

This is a rather large resort "spa" or onsen which was a lot of fun. We were the only non-Japanese people there, but everyone tried to help us and explain things. The bellboys were particularly great. One had studied English in Australia..."No worries!" The 5 outdoor baths (2 women's, 1 mixed and 2 men's) were gorgeous with great views of... More
