Spent a couple nights of nights here in a lovely suite. The location is pleasant and set with vineyard views. The facilities of the hotel are beautifully presented and well laid out within a central area. As well as the reception area there is a shop, various places to sit, a bar and restaurant. There is also a gym. A... More

We were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to spend 2 nights at the Louise is a private suite. The rooms are stunning and beautifully designed. They are like a small townhouse. There is a TV in the lounge room, bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is luxurious and a large bath, enormous shower and an outdoor shower which adds... More

We stayed at The Louise as it was the nicest place to stay in the Barossa region. The hotel is nice with most rooms offering nice views of the vineyards surrounding the property. The reception area however is not what you would expect at a hotel of this status (being part of the Luxury Lodges of Australia). It is a... More

Beautiful rooms and the Appellation dining was fantastic. Great service and staff. Happy to recommend this venue to all our friends for that special night away. If you do enjoy quality food a booking at the Appellation is a must.

We stayed at the Louise in a deluxe one bed-room suite which was sited a short walk form the main building. The suite was extremely comfortable and generous in size and loved the out door shower. We looked over rolling vineyards; it was secluded and peaceful. Couldn't fault the room. We dined at Appellation on NYE and unfortunately were not... More

Loved the architecture and atmosphere of the hotel.Impressed with the two outdoor areas.A swimming pool would complete the experience.A perfect base to explore the Barossa,Clare Valley and Mclarenvale wine regions.A small comment the components of the breakfast menu though very good were the same for our selections during our 4 day stay.

Reception welcome excellent, remembered my wife's birthday, as they did at dinner at Appellation, with Happy Birthday on the dessert plate. Personalised stationery a lovely touch. Room upgrade to Stonewall Suite fantastic for two nights. The courtyard overlooking the vineyards stunning with wine and cheese. Great outdoor shower as well as indoor. Dinner at Appellation lovely, we opted for the... More

This location is lovely and the rooms are very private with beautifully landscaped courtyards and outdoor showers. The setting is very peaceful while still close to the action of downtown restaurants and Barossa Valley wineries. As other reviewers have mentioned, the property begs for a swimming pool.

Spent 4 nights here. Spacious, comfortable and immaculate suite with pleasant outlook across the rolling vineyards. We especially liked the outdoor shower room. Agree with previous comments that a swimming pool would have been much appreciated. Good fitness room and guest laundry facilities. Didn't really care for breakfast being served in our room and would have preferred to eat breakfast... More

The two days we spent in The Louise were wonderful. The Hotel is really good. The room very spacious and cosy. Food and wine in the restaurant are very good and the staff efficient. Unfortunately they don't serve breakfast in the Restaurant. We had to order our breakfast the day before. It is served in the room. We hate to... More
