Having stayed at two other lodges our expectations were high but The Louise does not match up to the others. We had booked a suite which was very small. The sitting room only just accommodated two armchairs and a dining table against the wall. Continental Breakfast was delivered to the room. There was no option of a cooked breakfast despite... More

The Louise was a wonderful place to stay. We can't say enough good things. We ended our honeymoon traveling through Australia in Barossa Valley for a little wine country action. Up until this point the hotels had been pretty standard: clean but offering little to recommend themselves. The Louise was entirely different. They offer beautiful suites in a quiet setting... More

The Louise is the perfect place for a couple of days break in the Barossa Valley. Centrally located and close to most attractions, it is set on a hill top with expansive views of the vines and rolling hills of the Barossa. The suites are large. We were upgraded to a Seppeltsfield suite with a separate sitting room, a luggage/dressing... More

WOW what a place, just beautiful, peaceful, and a relax place. Accomodation is very clean and is more modern than some of the pics, staff are very friendly & helpful. The Restaurant "The Appellation" is worth a try too the food was amazing and the 53 page wine list was extremely tempting. Dave Adelaide

I recently stayed in this gorgeous hotel for a long weekend. It was perfect for beginning to end. We were allowed to check in early. The suite was bright and roomy with welcoming port and Anzac biscuits and fruit. The suite was perfect, big comfy bed with 2 showers, one outdoor. Breakfast was delivered to your suite, all fresh and... More

Stayed here with a mate not realising it was a couples place. That was a problem and the hotel split our king bed into twin king singles. Breakfast was delivered to our front door, hot and fresh (even the toast was hot and fresh). The rooms have two showers, one inside and one outside, something most unique. TV over the... More

We have stayed in many resorts and luxury hotels around Australia. The Louise is special. The location is so truly "the Barossa" with views over the vineyards. Our apartment was absolutely gorgeous, impeccable, tastefully decorated and practical. I loved the outdoor shower and the courtyard eating areas. The King bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a delight! Dinner at Appelation will... More

On our second visit to the Louise it was as good as our first. Upgraded our room and loved the outdoor rain shower. Had Champagne and chocolates On our arrival. And insuite massages for us both before dinner at Appellation was lovely. Appellation as always great food and service.

My partner surprised me with a romantic night away at the Louise and it exceeded expectations. The staff were very welcoming and all smiles as they greeted us and showed us to one of the suites which was away from the main area. My partner asked for my favourite flowers to be at the room upon arrival and they didn't... More

Such a central location, staff very accommodating, and the in room service of the included breakfast was great, dined at the adjoining resturant again very good, although the included snacks in the bar were a little on the light side considering the money spent. Otherwise everything was great. If I could say one thing to enhance the experience, a heated... More
