Situated on a secluded island, the hotel itself is old but well maintained so there is no facilities that are worn out or whatever. I believe they do a small furnishing regularly. I stayed in a category A ocean view room with jacuzzi, which is believed to be the most expansive room in the hotel. Food - Catering service was... More

We were impressed with the staff and their willingness to do anything possible to help guests. The grounds were fairly well maintained and our room was nice. They only have Japanese language TV and no DVD player in the room so you might want to bring a computer and movies if you need entertainment. The beds are standard Japanese beds... More

Walking distance from Yoron Airport, Pricia has many cottages all painted white. Beach is small but very private and nice looking. Breakfast is buffet style with some local food. Employees are nice and efficient, rooms are clean. The biggest problem is the building maintenance. White paints have faded away in some parts of the resort and storm damage from past... More

We stayed in the two-floored type (maisonnette). Unfortunately we could not stay the requested room. But it was fairly understandable since it was due to a typhoon. Anyhow, the hotel staff was always helpful and breakfast was delicious. The breakfast menu changed every day and I particularly enjoyed and liked Satsuma-age (Satsuma-style fried fish ball) which was really tasty! We... More

If you are going to Pricia, and I do recommend it, be prepared for utilitarian style of rooms, uncomfortable beds and very average bathrooms. However, you will be greeted with some of the most amazing beaches in the world and the rooms should be used for sleeping only. The breakfast is limited, predominantly Japanese, but all other restaurants for lunch... More

Location: Very close to the airport, which is barely noticeable as only turbo props fly in and out of there. Also isn't far from the ferry port. Service upon arrival: I was pleased that a driver was waiting with a sign near the clearly labeled Pricia Resort bus. Check in: I was able to check in 1.5 hours prior to... More

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the Pricia Resort on Yoron Island. We were told it was one of the nicest resorts in the Ryukus and very beautiful. Well the resort sits on a gorgeous white sandy beach and the views were breathtaking. The rooms however were very disappointing. The a/c was totally inadequate (it was extremely hot and humid...
