We spent 3 nights here during a trip in late June, and had a great experience at Mori no Fairy. The owners are so kind, and went out of their way to provide information, maps, etc. in a mixture of English and Japanese. Very comfortable and cozy room with a great view of the ocean from the back deck. The... More

The owners helped us make reservations and plan out our 10 day stay at yakushima. Our flight was cancelled due to rain and the owners took us back in right away! They even gave us an extra hour for check out so we could sleep in after a very long day! I would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone... More

We really enjoyed our time in Yakushima, getting to rent a car and see some nature (must go on mountain hikes and run ins with deer and monkeys!). The cottage was so well kept and the hosts very sweet and welcoming. Getting to have the delicious breakfast on the deck looking out on the ocean was such a nice contrast... More

I stayed with my friend for 4 nights. It is a lovely place, run by a lovely couple who were from Tokyo. All of their cottages faced the sea and it was an enjoyable experience to have our breakfast on the deck, overlooking the sea. The place is so well kept and clean. It gives me a very homely feeling.... More

I stayed here with my fiancee for 2 nights. It's a lovely place, run by a very friendly married couple. They have a total of 4 cottages, all of which were occupied during our visit (so book soon if you're going to!). The location, while away from many of the attractions on the north part of the island, is easily... More
