This property was a bit worn down but our spacious Japanese-style room was comfortable and clean. Most places we found in Takachiho involved a shared bathroom but this ryokan offered en-suite facilities, which was a good choice for us. There is limited parking near the side entrance, so you may have to park further down the sloped road at another... More

Our party comprised 3 adults. We were given a spacious Japanese/ tatami room, with another sitting area at the balcony. In the day time, the space is a living room. I am not sure if I would recommend this ryokan to a friend, on the one hand the staff is friendly, the food is really good and location is great, since it is right behind the bus station.
