In the middle of Kurokawa onsen area. Wonderful onsens with a few nice private ones. Okay meals. Hard to find food in the area. The owner didn't know English and she seemed not to really be interested in our needs. Didn't accept credit card.

My husband and I spent one night here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's hard to find faults. The ryokan is beautifully decorated in a cosy, "rustic" style and is in a great position near the centre of the village and next to the river. All the rooms face the river and the sound of the running water was most... More
