4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

When we arrived we were given a western style room. It was unchanged from the fifties and the whole floor smelled of smoke. This huge "ryokan" has a hidden japanese side with the japanese rooms : when you are ushered, you are really in Japan with sliding doors, tatami, kimono and so on. Staff is friendly but very professionnal. Meals are included (dinner and breakfast) and really delicious in the pure tradition. Onsen offer also a unique experience (two in two different buildings)... More
