Stayed for 2 nights in October, the weather is pleasant and the island is almost empty which is delightful for us as I heard this island can be too crowded in other time. Two of us stayed in a yurt with a 4 beds in it, lots of space and it will be great when travel with family or friends... More

Having spent afew days in Tokyo it was such a contrast staying here.We arrived at Uno ferry by bullet train.and then caught the ferry across. We arrived at our ryokan like chalet just in time to see a glorious sunset..magical....we couldnt get a room in the benesse house, and upon reflection I think we had the better place!

The tents are very spacious and clean. The toilets and showers are quite far from the tents, which is not very nice and also not very clean. One has to pay 100 yen for a hot shower. Wifi is free up to 1 hour. This place is very close to the Benesse House and the art sights in the island... More

I stayed there for one night in a yurt and was disapointed by the dirtyness of the shower facilities, which is pretty unusal for Japan. Also, forget about dining there, as you need to book a diner 3 days in advance or wont be given even a sandwich... We had to walk to the next city, a few kilometers away,... More

We stayed in tent no 10 just next to the sea for 2 nights. Naoshima is amazing and this place is very good in the summer, were you Can take a swim after a long artifarty day. In our opinion 2 Nights was not enough to see and experience it all.

My wife and I stayed at this place for 2 nights, and we decided to do both experiences : house and tent. The place is really clean, with access to all the facilities and ideally located. The staff is really attentive and clearly helpful. I really recommend this "once in a lifetime experience", you are on the beach and can... More

It's easy getting to Tsutsujiso from the Miyanoura Ferry terminal. Right at the terminal, just hop onto bus number 2 (¥100), it's the last stop, and right on the doorstep! Getting anywhere on the island is easy because of this bus and the Benesse Hotel Bus (free) that will take you from Tsutsujiso to the various museums. We stayed in... More

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. Our yurt was clean and well equipped, and the bathrooms were spotless. Probably the most immaculate campsite we have ever stayed at! It's lovely to sleep right by the sea and the location is great for visiting the nearby galleries. For lots of tips and info on visiting the art islands,... More

We stayed in a beachside yurt for one night in February. Despite being freezing cold outside, the yurt was very cosy inside with the gas heater on. It was reasonably clean inside, a bit dusty, but no big deal, and very spacious. Showers, towels, soap, etc. cost extra. We couldn't quite figure out the wi-fi but it seemed to limited... More

Don't be fooled by the location, the boat traffic in front of the lodge is huge, fisherman do very loud maneuvers at night, between midnight and two in the morning to be exact, and I have the reputation of being a deep sleeper ! Seemed like a bulldozer was excavating near the tent. The Yurts are clean but not in... More
