My parents and my family of five stayed in two Japanese style rooms. They let us drop off our luggage before check-in and we hiked the Nachi Falls area. After completion of 5 days self-guided walking on the Kumano Kodo trail, we ended up in Nachi-san which has a beautiful shrine complex and the highest waterfall in Japan. Small lodging house and from our room we have a great view of Japan's highest waterfall - the sacred Nachi-no-Otaki.
