Nakanoshima Hotel is built on a small island with a stunning view on the top of their observation area. Clean room and great dinner served. We also enjoyed very much in the onsens just next to the sea. The front staff can speaks good English.

This hotel is, as its name says, inside a small island.
In spite of the fact that the big building is agresive in such a place, being inside is very pleasant, surrounded by the sea.

We went to the hotel for the view and we got what we wanted. The onsen is directly facing the pacific ocean.
The hotel ground is huge as well as the rooms. The front staff didn't speak much english, only the bellboy could, so knowing a few sentences in japanese can be useful.

We stayed at the Hotel Nakanshima during a 2 1/2 week vacation in Japan for 2 nights.
To me, it was one of the highlights of the trip.
The location is quite amazing - on a small island that is reached by a shuttle boat that leaves frequently from the Kii-Katsuura dock.
