I travelled with my husband and two small kids (2 years and 4 years old). The room rate was about US$200, but I need to pay extra charge for my kids, US$40 each. Hence, total charged US$260/night (no meal included). But the room was very very small. I accepted such size if staying in Tokyo downtown. Definitely not in onsen... More

This hotel has a perfect location on the beach, close to restaurants and a grocerie store open 24h. The outdoor pool is nice but not heated, the onsen is very nice. We had Breakfast included which was nice, but first two mornings were traditional japaneese and the third morning it was more western. Our children did not enjoy the food... More

The room is in traditional Japanese-style with a tatami area, it is clean and huge. Our room can enjoy the sea view and seashore from Shirahama beach. The onsen is good. Especially the one at the 2nd floor outdoor, we can enjoy onsen with sea view. The staff was very nice and helpful. Because when we check in, they saw... More

This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed at this hotel and we've had a good experience on both occasions. Some reviewers have commented on rude staff but I have to say that I've found the opposite to be the case. Sure the reception staff (all staff) only speak limited English but then what do you... Second floor onsen has gorgeous view with five indoor onsen and one outdoor onsen!! From the Outdoor onsen ,i can see ocean , horizon, white beach .This is the most beautiful onsen i have ever been. After onsen i went to body spa ,the staff has excellent service mind but the decoration is plain and need to improve .

Air conditioning was off in all rooms due to the season, but the ventilation system will switch to heating mode automatically even the room temperature was adjusted to 20C, it kept increasing to 27C in the middle of the night, hotel staff came and explained only heater is available if the system is on, so he advised us to turn... Pity they had no non-smoking rooms which is OK but you could smell the smoke when other people smoked in the corridor. Despite this, near to bus stop, beach and restaurants (fisherman's wharf is about 15 mins walk) Great service getting the correct size yugata. Japanese breakfast was average. Lovely onsen - try the jacuzzi.

Stay three days two nights here with lovely traditional Japanese-style room, it's big, clean, good sea view and good room services. We also spent time in its hot spring and dinner here with good food and services. We find the only drawback is it was a bit expensive as compared to its standard, perhaps it is a peak season for... We were there a little bit off season and it had that feel of an slightly old-school spa hotel. But in a good way. The onsen is really very nice with several different baths, the best being outside. Great in the evening with a slight chill in the air. Great massage as well. Our room (415) was one of the... More

The hotel room and staffs are exceeded my expectation. It's a hotel still observing the traditional hospitability. Staffs in all sections are very friendly and polite, especially the lady in the restaurant who stayed in Sydney of Australia before. She is not just polite but also speaking perfect English. The surroundings are perfect and I should have stayed longer. One... More
