An overnight trip to Mt Koya (Koyasan) staying at a temple is a special experience. Not only do you experience a ryokan stay, but you are at a temple and can atttend a morning ceremony. I decided to stay at Ichijoin and found a good rate for a single person through the Japanese travel website Rakuten - a deluxe room...
