It's amazing that you can stay near Narita at this price (with even the shuttle to the airport). The room was a bit cold but not a big problem for me. The owner was a nice person.

The idea of tourism being a subject to local ownership rather than a way of international bankers business, is not a new one. Neither is the idea of tourism to be about people connecting from heart to heart. If these ideas appeal to you, and you also are interested in experiencing sides of Japan that the ordinary tourist paths do... More

Unfortunately the great snowcatastrophe of 2014 prevented me from making use of my booking at this hostel, but all throughout the process Mr. Yamamoto was incredibly helpful and communicative. When I was desperately trying to get to the hostel, he tried to help me find alternative transportation to get to him and was just really wonderful about the whole thing.... More

This was a great hostel to stay in for a layover in Narita. Mr Yamamoto was ready to pick us up (a group of 8) as soon as we found our way to the meeting place. The accommodation was fairly basic but it was great value for what we paid and was all we needed for one night. Mr Yamamoto... More

We stayed 12/19/13. We arrived around 7:00 P.M. Yama picked us up within 20 minutes of our phone call and returned us at 7:30 the next morning. The facility was o.k. Great for a quick in & out from Japan. Yama speaks good English and made for interesting conversation about Japan. Shoes off sandals on when you arrive. We had... More

Mr Yamamoto picked us up at the airport as arranged with no problems. He dropped us back there the following morning to catch our train. All this at no extra cost ! The hostel is in a quiet location surrounded by farms approximately 10 minutes drive from the airport. Mr Yamamoto is very friendly & helpful , providing a wealth... More

If you like to feel the nature and the people of Japan a little closer. If you like to touch the bamboo trees, not only watch them from a train. If you like to see what Japanese agricultur is like - Narita Airport Hostel is perfect for you. Being a one-man-business, there are possibilities that this accomodation may struggle to... More

The Accommodation is very far from airport. Says that airport pickup is present but we had to wait 2 hours at the airport for him to pickup and clueless to go by ourselves. Charged extra money to drop next day early morning and he was not ready by the time we had to go to airport. We had to wake... More

We got into Narita around 9pm, Mr. Yamamoto picked us up and got us back to the hostel. There was free tea and bread. We stayed the night and in the morning he got us back to our train nearby. He also gave us some tips on the wifi at 7/11 stores. He spoke English which helps us greatly. Overall... More
