The room is spacious and huge for 2A2C. We have the modern beds to sleep in and it was a good comfortable space. There was water boiler and a fridge available. There was hair dryer too. We had a beautiful beautiful view of Lake Toya and the mountains in the morning. Because the hotel is huge, there were many many... More

Stayed there for a company trip, Toya Sun Palace's got a big yard next to the lake, we had strawberries in our room so a bird kept coming by our window. Huge lobby and huge dinning room (buffet style). You can tell from the deco that the hotel is old, we even had fruit chandelier and green sofas by the... More

Old hotel by scenic lake toya, clean rooms with tatami style floor beds, small bathroom, Spacious lobby with nice lake view. On our October stay were entertained by fantastic enjoyable Tahitian dance troup followed by fireworks over the lake. their onsen is one of the bigger and cleaner ones we enjoyed compared to 3 other hotels we stayed in.around Hokkaido.... I love their onsen and buffet selection. Unfortunately, we tried their onsen late around 10:30 pm and couldn't see the lake view. But I bet it must be beautiful. Their buffet selection does not disappoint. I like their soup and salad station since the vegetables are so fresh. Steak is always good in Japan no matter what type of beef... More

For my Hokkaido trip this is one of the more decent hotel the food is decent the view is superb. They are of the few with western bed instead of tatami and yet they had the tatami setting for you to sit and enjoy the room view. The food is good with wide spread of choice especially if you like... More

Four of us had a single night here recently, and would come again. When you walk through the entrance doors you are greeted by a panoramic view of Lake Toya, which is stunning. We had a grand time in the large swimming pool, particularly with the wave machine, and the one of us who used the baths said they were... More

Maybe because we stayed at Lake View Nonokaze Hotel the first night that Toya Sunpalace is no comparison. The hotel lobby is elegant, with expanded view of the lake, but once we entered the room it was a different story - old, run down, and looked dirty. I made my reservation in May for a non smoking room, but got... More

We got a western/tatami room which was nice and spacious. The only gripe I have about the hotel is the really tiny bathroom. It's about the size of an airplane toilet. There were lots of activities for the kids- a nice water park and arcade. If you didn't bring a swimsuit they also have it for rent. We didn't eat... More

This hotel has a grand lobby which is very comfortable to rest. At this time when we visited, there are sea aquarium for us to admire fishes. The outside scenery is beautiful with chairs to sit along to watch fireworks only during this period from April to Oct. I also like the spread of the morning buffet. You definitely should... More

We got a Japanese room at the Crystal block with a great view of the lake. The room and toilet are small but this is compensated with good quality food for breakfasf and dinner. The spread of food is wide. Although it has to cater to large group of guests, the hotel is still able to maintain the standard of... More
