First impressions were excellent. Complimentary hot soup on arrival and despite many people arriving at the same time, check in was efficient. We were early and our room was not ready but we were able to leave our skis and luggage in a secure room, have coffee at the coffee shop and use the free wifi while we waited. Our... More

This is the trip I will never forget and never EVER come back ! Two bed restaurants in the roll, just not possible in one hotel . I've been travel to Japan many times a year for the 5 year. Never ever had such bad F&B in my experience , although the service is excellent . Still , disappointed !

Acting on the recommendation by a member of the family, we went to Hokkaido with 4 other families for an extended skiing vacation. Everything was like clockwork. Everything met our expectations, and more. With children ranging from 4 to 12 years old, we opted to travel by bus to the resort instead of the other means (by train or by... More

It was my first time to go to Hokkaido last January 2015. We don't know for sure what to expect there. After searching in the internet we found this place is interesting so we include it as our itinerary. We did all the reservation through internet which pretty much easy. After we reach there it meets our expectation. The place... More

I grew up skiing in New England, which usually features somewhat humble mountains and often times icy terrain. So I heard Tomamu's skiing experience was similar to that but with better snow - and it turned out to be true for the most part, at least in February. It's a great beginner's mountain, so if there are people in your... More

During my 10 days in Hokkaido with my wife, while I cannot ski, I spent 2 nights in this family ski resort , as it was recommended by my travel agent and only 2 hours from Sappora via JR. The whole journey was smooth, the hotel will offer free shuttle/coach pick up when the train arrived at this very small... More

This is our second time stayed at this hotel and the experience is still as good as before. The hotel is big and so busy. Regardless, they managed it well, clean and efficient. The facilities located at several buildings in this resort, you can either walk (on snow) or take their shuttle bus to move from building to building. We... More

Very quiet on the mountain compared to Niseko and not a lot of of foreigners around. Kids dig this place with mountain adventure games to collect stamps at various stations (that involves some Dracula looking dude who wants to ski down with no trees who needs to be defeated), ice village with ice slide, ice skating, ice bar, ice school,... I visited this hotel for the second time in winter season (the other one is in summer season). I think it's much better to stay here in winter than in summer. You can give your children great experiences such as... - Skying or snowboarding just near the hotel --- even for small beginner children who are around three years old... More
