I've been Japan several time, and it's second time to Okinawa, as August is the high season, so the room rate is very high for what we get, the beach is ok, but the food and room service is so so, compare to what i experience in Naha city and other cities of japan, this rate is too high. they... We stayed in Hotel Moon Beach in September, during our very first trip to Okinawa. I've read many reviews of this hotel and am somewhat puzzled by the bad ones. Sure, the hotel is old and some parts of it are in need of renovation. Also, if you expect a 5-star western kind of holiday resort, you might be disappointed.... More

Our room was large for a Japanese room and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel staff was great. The breakfast buffet was OK, not great but certainly enjoyable. The dinner buffet was quite good but I think it was a bit overpriced. We did the sea kayak & snorkel trip to Nap Island. An excellent way to... More

What a great relaxing resort! Great beach with plenty of chairs and attention. Plenty of beautifully kept gardens with hide-aways to sit and read a book; access to the beach to walk for miles and explore. On-site restaurants had a language barrier, was difficult for me to order but I'm not a picky eater so was always a surprise but... More

This "hotel" is so old and not decorated. Feels like going back into 70s. Room is so small to be called as a resort hotel, everything inside the room is so old fashioned, even worse than a hostel. Carpak is so full that can't even find a space at 8pm!!! Will not stay here again , don't worth the money!... More

Beautiful hotel on the beach just south of Nago. There is good snorkeling and swimming on the hotel beach and it is just a short drive to The Blue Grotto where there is world class snorkeling and diving. It is 1 hr to the Ocean Expo and there are good restaurants close to the hotel.

The hotel has an old architecture, and the facilities are well equiped to make you fell absolutely relax. Scuba diving just 5 minutes from the beach is a must! Romantic vibe with incredible sunsets, overall the hotel delivers what it offers.

We stayed 6 nights at Moon Beach Hotel. The hotel itslef is old with a stalin era architecture but several parts of the hotel have been renovated so it really depends on which part of the hotel you stay at. The staff was friendly and check in was swift. Our room (residential club superior on the 4th floor) had been... More

This is one of the first resort hotels built in this area, and it shows in the building, both outside and inside. We stayed here in January when there was nothing much to do, and the weather did not help us. My son's first impression of the hotel building was it looked like a prison. Our room was big enough...
