Our stay at Nozawa was perfected by the management in Haus of Anton. Our Ski Agency booked our ski hire at the most inappropriate location. Apparently there are two Ski Station in Nozawa. One is Hikage Station the other is Nagasaka Station. Hikage Station is only 10 mins from Haus St Anton by walking. Where as Nagasaka is 20 mins... More

Another trip to Nozawa Onsen village and this time we were lucky to stay for the week at Haus St Anton . Perfect location for us, short stroll up to Yu road ski access, great coffee shop below , which is part of the hotel, ( they also sell fantastic jams , made in house). Our room was western style... Firstly, I have to confess that we only ate at St Anton's but I did have a quick look at the accommodation which is fairly standard for Nozawa ie basic, extremely clean, comfortable and the best thing very very friendly and welcoming. The location is very central being located in one of the main streets close to shopping and restaurants.... More

Thank you very much for visiting us for christmas eve dinner and great review also. It is our pleasure that you had good time in nozawaonsen.>spread of something it was sautéed onion and Speck(austrian smoked raw ham) spread. that dish was a kind of rebuilded dish of "Groestel (Austrian traditional dish)" we really looking forward to see you again.... As per other reviews, whatever downfalls this older style lodge/hotel is made up for 100 times over by the friendly owners and staff. It has a comfortable family feeling, any questions or requests are helpfully and gratefully accommodated. The onsen is nice and hot ( two onsens, one with spring water the other with tap water), the ski/boot room although... More

I wanted to be able to give Haus St Anton 5 stars as elements of what they offer are very good indeed: The hosts and staff are gracious and helpful, and speak English which is useful. The room was warm and comfortable. The location is great - above/behind the family owned shop which sells their home made jams, juices and... More

I stayed here on a snow trip here for around 6 nights. The place was great in a really good location right on the main part of the main road. They also have a rental place on the at the base of the gondola so you can leave your gear there. The shared facilities are great with a bath in... More

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Haus St Anton Hotel. The Katagiri family and staff, make you feel welcome and provide excellent service. The hotel is in a great location right in the village close to shops, restaurants and onsens. It is not far from O- yu and Yu road (moving travellator), which takes you to the base... More
