The Hotel is conveniently located close to the Yu Road - or the escalator that takes you to the gondola. We stayed in a western room with private facilities, which means our own bathroom and toilet. The room had a spacious wardrobe and a extra space for our clothes. We have 2 single beds which were pushed together. Single beds... More

Rooms a bit worn, a little taste, did not sleep well. Not very friendly front desk attendant, next time will not stay! Breakfast and dinner is good, very full to eat every night. Onsen is too crowded, you cannot enjoy! Wifi only provide in lobby.

This hotel is a traditional ryokan with western beds. Situated on a higher part of the mountain it has a great view of the town and of the mountain. It is pretty much a 5 min walk to the center of the town and to the Hikage lift. The room had two western style twin beds and a western bathroom.... More

Stayed here for two nights in Japanese style tatami room. Our room had a onsen bath tub on the balcony, which was great since we were traveling with a baby. However, the common onsen at the hotel is excellent! It was great to relax in the outside spa in a nicely landscaped garden after a days skiing. The room was... More

This our third trip to Japan, but without doubt this has given us one if our best experiences of Japan. This is only a 3 star facility and some of our comments reflect this reality. The real positives - good proximity to the yu travelator - allow 4 or 5 minutes with ski gear; wonderful hospitality; a great onsen with... More

My son and I stayed in February 2013. The hotel is essentially a traditional ryokan with a few of roughly 20 rooms fitted with western beds. It is well located for accessing the Yu road to the Hikage lift, with a 5+minute walk past shrines along the same level. It is also immediately above the centre of the village. Staff... More

Hotel is in a great location and easy to get to the Yu road (moving travellator) which takes you to the base of the slopes. Hotel is very smokey.. more so than the average smokey Japanese hotel but our room smelt fine. Service is good and very friendly. The outdoor Onsen is great. The ski room is not warm so... More
