We had a Japanese room on the forth floor overlooking the village. Just gorgeous! The room was a reasonable size with twin futons, a Japanese table and chairs on the floor and also western table and 2 chairs. Separate toilet and shower a bonus . The onsen's were the best, very clean with awesome skin care products! There is a... More

We stayed in Nozawa to go to the Fire Festival. It was a great experience. Everywhere is close in Nozawa and the town was very interesting for skiers and non skiers. The Hotel was well equipped, the staff friendly and the food was delicious. We would definitely go back.

Transport: If you take the bus to Nozawa onsen village from the Togari Nozawa onsen station, the bus stop in which you alight is just in front of the hotel. Food recommendation: Me and my husband loved the Sauce Tonkatsu rice at the restaurant just opposite the bus stop in front of the hotel. Too bad the restaurant's operation hours... More

We had a western style room which was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. Plenty of room for our ski gear and a cute capsule style bathroom complete with shower, bath and of course a Japanese toilet. The onsens are some of the best I've experienced, including a male and female onsen on the 3rd floor, as well as seperate... More

It's in a fairly good location. The food is average (compared to other places we've stayed in) and the service is pretty good. The building is rather old but, kept clean. The main public bath is a little old and small but, very clean. The outside bath is great but small - three's a crowd! It's rather expensive to do... More

If you're going to Nozawa you know what to expect. Cute town, skiing/mountains, traditional hot springs, food. If you want a Japanese experience but are too world-weary to rough it, this is the place for you. It's a Japanese hotel but you'll probably be ok as a non-Japanese speaker. The staff speak the absolute basics and the information you need... More

We stayed at this hotel for five nights to do some skiing and have a look at the village of Nozawa Onsen which we had heard good reports about. The hotel is at the far end of the village and about 0.5km from the Shin-yu double chair lift which takes you to the base of the Hirage Gondola (ski school,... More
