Good location right on the snow. Big hotel and very japanese. good onsen and buffet meals all included. Food OK but large selection so easy to find something good. Skiing was great and some good powder.

We are currently staying here. The skiing is great, and so is the ski in ski out but the internet is rubbish and doesn't work most of the time, and everything including the food is pretty expensive. There are much better options in Hakuba from personal experience. Hope this helps.

I hate hotels that promise free Wifi that then does not work ! So deceiving . Hotel is ok but no options for lunch . Just a single cafe with a few options . Give me Furano any time . Then it only has 7 lifts. Bored after a single day and the alternative is to bus elsewhere and pay... More

We had chosen to stay here move for its location more than the hotel, large hotels are not really our thing, as it is located at the Hakuba Cortina ski field and there is nowhere else to stay on-snow. It is a large hotel in a "Bavarian" style, which comes across as out of place in Japan but ok we... More

I was on a group tour and stayed at this hotel for a night. The exterior of the hotel was very quaint, resembling a European building. The staff offered 10% discount for purchasing items at the souvenir store. The room I had came with beds and tatami so you can choose to sleep on either depending on personal preference. No... More

We have been in Japan for 8 days and experienced some magical hospitality in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hakone. The bar had been set. We arrived at The Green Plaza hotel after only booking it the day prior. We were recommended it by the concierge at our previous hotel. She had never been but was impressed with the website. We agreed... More

Our first impression when we arrived at 12pm on a Sunday in winter was chaos. Noisy, overcrowded and inefficient. A strict 10am check-out and 3pm check-in, is not unusual but there was nowhere to wait and nowhere to put luggage unless you paid a locker fee. Adding to the lobby congestion, was a 30 minute restaurant queue to eat at the... More

One of the most impressive hotels in the world visually, especially in winter. We have been going to Cortina to ski for over a decade, though we often choose to stay elsewhere. The rooms are showing their age now, and we have seen no major renovations. The stay/buffet/ski ticket packs can be a good deal, but it really depends on... More

We discovered that the hotel often leaves rooms dirty for an entire day if there is no immediate booking afterwards, it also means that they don't check the room for you and any lost items will not be found until 24 hours later. The hotel said they would send the laptop charger that I needed for my work, but then... More

We booked the duplex rooms. The layout of the room was not conducive. Entrance is from the upper floor. There is a tatami room and no bathroom. The lower floor has 2 beds and a sofa bed. Toilet and cupboards are downstairs. So it was a little inconvenient to lug the bags up and down a steep staircase. Would have... More
