When we looked at booking in Hakuba, our only prerequisite was an onsen onsite. The onsen was lovely and beautifully clean with a pleasant outlook to the snow filled garden. Sadly, they do not open the outdoor onsen in winter because of falling snow from the hotel's roof. This was disappointing and something we would have liked to have known... More

There are so many little things that this hotel could do to make Tokyu hotel the only place to stay when in Hakuba but I doubt it will happen. The hotel is stuck in a timewarp from the day it opened. Decor - dated, doesn't feel like it has had a single penny of investment since the day it opened.... More

Rooms were good size and breakfast was excellent. You could not get drop off to first bus to Cortina so without taxi you will miss the first powder. Also this is first Hotel I have visited to charge you for shower on your check out date if you would still want to hit the slopes.

My wife & I stayed 3 nights in Feb. 2015 at this hotel to ski at Happo One. Our room was quite big with a small balcony. I posted some photos of the room. My only complaint is that the mattress is quite hard. Service was very good. We ate dinner at the hotel every night. Too cold & too... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights as part of a snow trip package. The hotel is excellent, the rooms are spacious and the views are fantastic. The staff were excellent in everything, from booking restaurants in town,to helping with transfers to the different ski resorts. A couple of times we were lost in translation, but it was... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and really couldn't fault it. So central to all the magnificent fields and the free shuttle bus comes right to the hotel so no walking with ski gear. We could hire our gear at the hotel which was great. Walking distance to lots of great places to eat and drink. The Onsen is a must... More

I stayed 3nights (Feb,1-4). This is one of the best hotel in Hakuba. The bell staff's quality was very poor. I belonged the member of Tokyu Hotels Comfort. This card does not make sense much. Late check out is only 1 hr extra (11:00 --> 12:00). Giving us discount only 10%. Nothing so much compare to International hotel groups. Breakfast... More

As first time Hakuba snowboarders, the Tokyu showed us a great time. Walking distance to the slopes, bars and restaurants. Generous, but a little dated, rooms and a great downstairs onsen to get your 'Japan' on and ease the days bumps and bruises. The included breakfast was nice - but finished a little early for sleepy westerners but staff couldn't... More

We were on a "I want it all - Japan - ticket": Tokyo, skiing, and Kyoto in ten days, so we had a travel agent book this place sight unseen. Probably a little more luxurious than we normally would have chosen, but it turned out perfectly. The room was large, even by North American standards, and very cozy. There is... More

Great hotel , walk or shuttle to the lift , friendly english speaking staff . have stayed here now twice when skiing and would happily stay there again. One tip is the Bar is expensive better to walk up to the pub for a beer at half the price
