great onsen. ski hire center and shop next door, also large pub and shuttle bus between the various resorts - all very convenient. relaxed and very polite atmosphere. we had the buffet 6 days out of 7, never tired of it.

The hotel is nostalgic but nice. Wi-Fi is available in room (unexpectedly is free). As the location is remote thus environment is very peaceful. We had buffet dinner and breakfast. Foods are various and above average. Beer is cheap but soft drinks are not worth.
