Have been to Snowlines the last two years and have booked again for next year...that probably says it all! Sarasa and Stephen are such amazing hosts, we landed on our feet (or skis) with this lodge. Breakfast is great, drinks at the bar après ski a necessity as are the tips for local restaurants. Bus at the door for the... More

I was the first guest at Snowlines during Christmas of 2011, and have been back almost a dozen times since then. The lodge had clean rooms, a warm and friendly bar area, and awesome onsen baths which feel wonderful after a long day on the slopes. The restaurant and bar serve up delicious food, whether you are looking for a... More

Great stay in an amazing place, would love to be back there now! The staff at Snowlines were always helpful, the food excellent and the location perfect for access to he resorts in Hakuba. Our children had a great stay at the lodge and keep pestering us to take them back.

Snowlines Logde made me realize that traveling alone is very easy. The staff make one feel welcome and are very helpful with information. They make one feel right at home. Location is perfect, just a walk up the road or the daily bus right outside to take you to your desired area.

Snowlines Lodge was amazing- They went out of their way to accommodate our group of seven, despite delayed buses and trains because of a freak snow storm in Tokyo and last minute changes to reservations. The amenities were great and the meals fantastic. I know where I'm staying next time I end up in Hakuba.

Snowlines Lodge is awesome -you couldn't ask for more friendly or accommodating hosts and the atmosphere in the lodge is fantastic. There's a bus stop out the front and you can walk to heaps of great cafes, bars and restaurants. You don't need to though - the Snowlines bar is great for apres ski and the food is tasty and... Had our 2nd season in Japan in January 2012, and re-booked Snowlines Lodge and it only got better than last time! We got back to Sydney and booked Snowlines again for our THIRD consecutive trip this year, bringing another bunch of friends to experience the amazing country of Japan, fresh powder skiiing and of course, owners, Steve and Sarasa's hospitality!... I can highly recommend Snowlines Lodge! The rooms are very modern, clean, warm and the beds are so comfortable. The continental breakfast was yummy and just what you need to start the day! Great hosts & the best part of our trip by far!

What a brilliant place. Steve and Sarassa are the most fantastic hosts, and really made the place feel like a home away from home. We arrived late (9pmish) and steve was wonderful to pick us up at the bus station, and on the first day of skiing he dropped us at the ski fields. Anything we needed help with, buses,... More
