My wife and I stayed at Snowlines in March 2015 for several days. It was our first time in Japan and our first time skiing. Stephen was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble. From train station transfers and advice on getting around town through to recommendations for local restaurants as well as where to get the best... More

This was our first trip skiing in Japan and my 2 teenage sons and I couldn't have been more impressed with everything especially this lodge. We stayed at the lodge in January and Steve and Sarasa are amazing! From the first moment I knew we were going to be looked after. They were very welcoming and friendly, as were their... More

This lodge blew us away! It literally felt like a home away from home. Welcomed by friendly staff warm fire and relaxed atmosphere, which was lovely after a blizzarding day on the slopes. We stayed in the family room which was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable. The room had its own newly built bathroom with heated amenities. The Staff... More

Steve and Sarasa were very accomadating and were extremely helpful in all regards. The bar staff were also fantastic. The breakfast was great. The location was really central and close to the shuttle bus pick up points. One highlight of the stay was Sarasa's hotpot dinner. We stayed in the ensuite room which was a good size with a large... Our family (2 adults and 2 Children) stayed at the Snowlines Lodge in January 2015. Our hosts, Steven and Sarasa certainly went the extra mile during our stay. One arrival (new years day), Steven drove us around Hakuba to find a restaurant open for lunch as he was concerned many places might be closed. We had the family room which... More

Our helpful and friendly hosts Steven and Sarasa have really put their heart and soul into their lodge and it shows in the attention to detail and their warm and obliging service. Our room was large, nicely decorated, and had a private newly renovated ensuite bathroom. Great bar, spacious areas for relaxing, good sized breakfast room with a fire, and... More

My husband and son joined another 24 other Aussies at Snowlines. We arrived at staggered times with 6 of us arriving at 2:00am - something Stephen was used to with the Aussie onslaught from Jetstar flights. Our rooms were warm and comfortable. Breakfast is continental and available from 7:00am allowing for staggered sessions depending on which ski resort we were... More

Awesome place to stay. Loved my time in hakuba. Recommend this place highly. The staff are really helpful and place is well located on the bus routes. A great place to unwind after a solid days skiing.
