We too were unsure of what to expect as we had booked through an agent. We were pleasantly surprised staying here in January for 8 nights. The rooms are basic but large and warm. The Onsen after skiing was a god send!! The staff are all great - friendly and helpful. They assisted with pick up and drop off, shuttles... More

For convenience we booked our accommodation, lift passes and ski equipment hire all together through Nagano Snow Tours but did not know what to expect when it came to the quality of the hotel. The room was basic but large with a very big comfortable bed, perfect after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was extremely high quality, prepared by the multitalented... More

We enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. While the lack of snow was frustrating for all, there was enough to get a bit of a ski. The room we had was large and perfectly adequate. The staff, Saori in particular, were very helpful and attentive, including lifts to/from the station, to restaurants etc. The onsens were always an enjoyable end... More

We had a wonderful 4 night stay over New Years. We had a big room... 2 singles and a double bed for only 2 people and a reasonable sized ensuite by Japanese standards. The staff could not have been more helpful! They collected us from the station and were eager to help with taxi or dinner reservations! Tak was ready... More

Our family stayed at Panorama on a last-minute ski trip to Hakuba in March 2015. This a very down-to-earth place. Nothing fancy - but everything works. We had a family room with a queen-seized bed, and two singles, which worked great for our family of four. Housekeeping was a bit of a hit and miss, but always, we have fresh... More

While not being the highest level of luxury this is still a great place to stay. Walking distance to slopes of Happo-One. Hosts are very helpful with any information on good restaurants, transport to other ski slopes and will take you to some locations if required. While the bathrooms are quite small there is an onsite Onsen which was fantastic.... More

Just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay (mum and 3 young kids), and to echo previous reviews, the staff at Panorama couldn't be nicer/more helpful. They pretty much anticipated all our needs, with shuttles to ski hire and the lifts organised for us. Very helpful recommendations on places to go too. Overall the hotel is very kid friendly and... Staying in this hotel felt like being part of the family. The Australian owner, Kevin, was there for us all the time and nothing was a problem. We travelled with our son who has numerous food allergies and Kevin made sure that breakfast food (included in the price) was delicious and nuts free. The bar downstairs was a great entertaining... Stayed here after finding reviews on trip advisor and it didn't disappoint. Good size rooms, clean and friendly and helpful staff. There were 3 families staying here and the community room was well utilised by both parents and kids, in fact this made our stay. They had western and Japanese food which was great for the kids. Kids went night... More
