Unlike other reviewers, our stay here was not in the snow season but in late September as my husband was flyfishing in the area. But our experience appears to be the same. Whilst there were not many guests at the hotel, the staff were still vigilant and very helpful - rushing to give us umbrellas as rain started to fall... More

8 night ski vacation in Jan 2014. What can I say? Probably the best ski vacation we've ever had. As everyone else has mentioned, the service is brilliant. Kev and his staff really know how to show you a good time. Rooms are large, with great views. Small toilet and shower unit in room. Bit of a squash if you... More

This is my second visit to this small hotel. It is a little gem and the second stay has allowed me to enjoy it more than before. To just appreciate its location - the view of the Panorama overlooking the Olympic ski Jumps as well as the snow fields and mountains. When returning home from a long days skiing, you... More

Our group of 10 were all very happy with this hotel. It caters for skiers by providing morning shuttles to Happo One and to the Info Centre for transfers to the other ski areas. In the evening transport is provided to the nearby restaurants. We ate 3 times in the hotel dining rom and were treated to well prepared western... More

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel which is easy walking distance to Happo One. We had a family bedroom which was very good value. Staff were all friendly and professional. Can definately recommend it.

This is a fantastic hotel, ran by 'Kiwi' Kevin and his Japanese wife Hiromi, it ticks all the boxes. Very well located near to the centre of town. Our room was a very good size albeit with a small bathroom, with outstanding views over the nearby ski-slopes and mountains, to which you can easily walk. The hotel also offers a... More

Our family of 5 travelled to Hakuba in mid-January 2013, and we stayed for 7 nights at the Panorama Hotel. To say the least, the holiday had been a disaster. My daughter got an ear infection and the rest of us were on edge. We went from one tiny hotel room in tokyo to another and by the time we... More

My husband and I spent 10 days here with a couple of friends at the begining of the year. We have skied all over the world, Sestriere, Whistler, Niseko etc and this was definately the best trip yet. The snow was unreal of course, but what really set this holiday apart was the accommodation, and the service we received there.... More

I stayed here in dec-jan 2011-12 with my husband and two children. Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to a heap of restaurants and 7-11, a 20 min walk to supermarket, and best of all only 300 meters to the lifts! They also provide free shuttle to and from the station, AND free shuttle to other mountains in... More
