We are a family of 4 and chose the Alpine Chalets for 10 days of skiing mainly due to price. The facilities are basic but were perfectly adequate for our purposes. Kitchen area is small and basic, bathroom area perfectly fine. The drying room in the hallway was a bonus. Buses to all ski areas are at the end of... More

My family stayed for 6 nights at the chalets and they provided everything you could want. Although basic in style they are warm, comfy beds, great little cooking area, terrific bath/shower area, supermarket runs three times a week, bus stop outside chalets to ski fields, free wifi, friendly staff and heaps of snow!!!! What more do you want for a... More

We are just finishing up a week's stay at Alpine Chalets. If you've been to Japan before you'll know that space is always at a premium and at the non luxury end of the market the accommodation can be dodgy, awkward and downright uncomfortable. None of this applied to Alpine Chalets to our absolute delight. There's a bit of room... More

We had a very comfortable stay at the apartments. They are a little bit remote but there was 1 very good restaurant easy walking distance and the ski bus stopped directly outside the apartments. Kevin and his staff were very helpful and offered excellent support services. Perfect for a group of 4 people and very good value.

This was my first time in Hakuba and in Japan all together. I had heard stories about stinky lodges with extremely limited space for your gear and cooking. I was a bit worried where we will end up to but when I saw this place I was really happy. The lodge is not huge in any means but the space... More

We have stayed in Hakuba 3 times before this trip and this year we had our 12yo son with us so we thought we would look at a self contained option for part of our trip. We were met on arrival and after checking in were taken to our ski hire place (Spicy) to collect our rentals we were then... More

Have just spent a week staying at the alpine chalet. The staff all looked after us very well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Shuttle buses come through on a regular basis to take you to the fields. Highly recommend
