Other than the limited choice of breakfast option, we had a pleasant stay. Our room was spacious and clean and the kid a blast playing at the parking lot area. The common room spacious and we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend staying at this lodge again!

Super friendly and informative staff offering advice on local restaurants, attractions and which of the 8 ski resorts in the area are best on any particular day. Japanese ski fields cop the most reliable snow because they get the Siberian wind picking up moisture from the ocean and hitting the VERY big mountains (compared to Oz) and DUMPING huge dry... More

We stayed at Morino Lodge as part of a large group of 40 for 9 nights. Craig and Matt plus their staff looked after us really well and even went to the trouble of organising 3 separate restaurants over a number of nights so we could mostly dine out together. There were 2 'Nabe' night's - food cooked over flames... More

I Just wanted to say a big thanks to Craig and Mat , for being such wonderful hosts and facilitators during our stay. You guys went well beyond the call of duty , helping us to sort out skis etc whilst we awaited the late arrival of our gear. The Hotel / Lodge is fantastic , you have great staff... More

Decent location within walking distance of onsens, some food options, Rhythm boardshop & the Happo-One Kokkusai Lifts, in a quainter/quieter part of Hakuba. Breakfast is included & the team whips up a nice homey brekkie each morning (eggs & bacon; pancakes..etc). The Morino Lodge team is helpful & friendly & can drive you to nearby places if they're available. There's... More

This lodge is a home away from home in a great location in Wadano, Hakuba. Matt & Crag provide an excellent friendly service and welcome you like you are family. The lodge is very neat and clean with a great breakky to keep you going while you are carving it up in Japan Pow. Try the Japanese tatami rooms!!

We stayed at Yuki cottage which is next to Morino Lodge in Hakuba. The house is surrounded by trees and is new, spacious and well kept. There are 3 bedrooms, of which the master bedroom on the top floor is by far the most spacious. The house has 2 large balconies/patios on the second and third floors. The kitchen was... More

We recently spent 10 days at Big Bear Chalets 2 and 3 (interconnecting) with a group of 8 friends. The chalets are impressive from the first step inside. You definitely get what you pay for. Good location, close to local ski bus stop. The loungeroom is comfortable and the kitchen well appointed with all very modern appliances. I loved the... More

Thank Craig and Matt again for a great time in Japan. Love the place and staff are great. Look forward to seeing you again next year. Wish I could move in. Book with these guys. Some person and welcoming every time. Oh and best place to ski in the world I think.
