I stayed at Monkeyrider in Feb 2009 and had a ball. Travelled with my girlfriend and she was so happy we didnt have to share with all the other boys... didnt cost much more either. Well worth the extra money compared to sharing at a backpackers!

The Monkey Rider was as true.... a Japanese experience you can get from a western run hotel. Set amongst the snow covered trees in the small Japanese country style town of Echoland. Very comfortable and accomadating! I'm back there in feb, can't wait!

Was recommended by a friend to stay here and was not disappointed! Staff are awesome and extremely helpful. Rooms are comfortable, lounge area is great to unwind at the end of the day, close to shops and easy access to transport to happo-one. Great vibe about the place!

Stayed in one of their rooms, was very clean and comfortable, lots of windows making it very bright. It had a good clean private bathroom with plenty of water pressure and hot water.
