Stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon. Location, location, location! It's in the perfect spot if you're looking to hit the slopes and be in a quite spot. Its on the main bus route with a stop at the botto. Of the driveway and a rental shop across the carpark. You can ski or board home down a... More

Hakuba is the place to ski in Japan and Le Neige Honken is the place to stay in Hakuba. Nestled in the forest the hotel is in the perfect location with easy access to both the ski lifts and restaurants. Everything you need will be looked after by the fantastic hotel owner and her amazing staff. When booking, or when... More

If you want to experience Japanese service, stay here. Every request anticipated. Exceptional service from Taka and all staff, and lovely Japanese general manager. Beautiful rooms. Spend the extra and stay in a junior suite or corner suite. If you want to party, stay in Happo Village or Echoland. La Neige Higashikan is a romantic hotel in an upmarket area.... More

My husband and I spent a week at the end December / beginning of January at this lovely Tudor style hotel. It particularly looks magical when lit up at night. Shoko san (owner) speaks limited English but can communicate very well. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Our deluxe room had a small sitting/ TV room, a bathroom with... More

It's a bit out of season at Hakuba when we visit, so why not try something a little different. No snow, no La Neige. The discount prices at the fancy faux Tudor La Niege Honkan tempt us. It's not hard to find the place at the foot of the Japanese Alps and only a long jump from the Olympic ski... More

I stayed at this hotel earlier this month, and I totally love it! The hotel staff wrote to me before I checked in to ensure I would know the way. When I arrived and found out that the Nature Walk nearby is not open yet, they were able to give professional advice on where to go otherwise. Food at the... More

Set in the middle of a Forrest makes it almost enchanted. The staff clearly care and shows in everything you they do. At the end of a days skiing you can ski back to the door in about two minutes. When you arrive back you feel immediately relaxed with classical music playing softly in the background. They did everything they... More

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 girls aged 7 and 9) have just returned home from 12 glorious days at the Hotel La Neige Honkan. Within seconds of arrival, we knew that we had walked into a special hotel, one in which we were made to feel extremely welcome and cared for. The location is simply perfect -... More

Fantastic hotel for a great stay on the snow. Rooms are all individual and we were upgraded to a room with a separate jacuzzi room which was very luxurious. The main lounge is like an old English manor with roaring fire. Après ski snacks are there to help yourself to and marshmallows are there to be roasted on the fire... More

A really charming quiet and relaxing ski holiday with excellent and attentive hosts. Their service includes pick up from the bus station. The exterior of the hotel is classic European Manor and the interior decor is beautifully done. We had a deluxe room with a spa bath - lovely after a days skiing when you are older. Everything we saw... More
