We were the only westerners when staying there. The hotel has a great onsen and we could not get enough of the sashimi at the dinner buffet. it is not cheap but still very recommendable. Also the location close to the rope way was great!

booked this hotel because of proximity to ropeway for 2 days skiing. That was good, but a room with 2 god awful fold out sofa beds taking up most of the downstairs and 2 twin beds upstairs in the unbearable heat wasn't really what we were looking for..........just wanted a double bed...not too hard to organise is it?..... Needed to... More

We were four friends that went there for a ski vacation. We choose that hotel because it was the closest to the cable car (about an 100 m). We could go skiing just by taking a short walk, which was really nice! But we realized that this hotel needs lots and a lot of improvements. First thing you need to... More

Went to Hokkaido during summer peak season. The hotel locates next to the ropeway up the mountain. So it is also a good spot to start hiking up the mountain. The onsen facility is quite okay but looks old. The food breakfast & dinner are quite decent. We enjoyed being relax and hiking around the place. The hotel needs to... More

When we first arrived, we were greeted by the news that they did not have a record of our reservation (never a good sign) but they did have a room anyway and simply gave us a key and pointed us to the lift. Basically they did not speak any English and didn't want to deal with us. When we got... More

We were searching for a hotel in the area after a long hike in the mountains and weren't left with much options. It was a little beyond our budget and I've definitely stayed in cheaper but better hotels. We were given one of the loft rooms and it was huge, with 4 single beds. The odd thing was they didn't... This is a really nice large hotel. I do not say that often (ie. large + nice). Book an in-room dinner one night for a real treat. Great onsens. Buffet breakfast includes ice-cream and hot chips. Exactly what one needs to stay on the mountain all day. I hate to advertise somewhere so wonderful (ie. Asahidake). But, if you've found... More
