We stayed at Tregarth Homestay in August 2014, mainly to visit the Ogwen Mountain Range nr Tregarth, which hosts the Oggie 8 Mountain Challenge each year, in August. It is a really useful and beautiful location to access Anglesey and Betts y Coed, depending on which way you want to go. The Homestay was welcoming, informal and the rooms were... More

We've stayed in a few hotels and B&Bs' in the past, this is not the most salubrious, but it is the friendliest and doesn'y compromise comfort and cleanliness. Sit in the kitchen and watch breakfast being cooked by Peter or Kathleen whilst having a chat about plans for the day! Put some bread in the toaster! It is just like... More

I ended up in Tregarth Homestay because everything was booked in Bangor. However, it turned out to be a good choice. The hosts were very helpful in sorting out the bus timetables, and even gave me a lift to the railway station in Bangor on Sunday, when there are no buses. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast very good,... More

Tregarth Homestay is a lovely B&B with beautiful views of the Welsh countryside. The couple who run it are very friendly and were keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They chatted to us easily over breakfast (which was great!) and gave us helpful advice about where to eat out and the best routes to take around the... More

The reviews were spot on. My daughter and I spent four wonderful nights at Tregarth Homestay during our vacation to Snowdonia National Park, and if we ever go back, we most definitely hope to stay there again. Our room was immaculate; the beds were warm and cozy, and it was wonderful to have a private bath just steps away from... More

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay here. I stayed for two nights, and in just that short amount of time, it felt like a home away from home. I often have difficulty sleeping for the first couple of nights in a new place, but at Tregarth Homestay, I slept well both nights. From the time... More

This is a long overdue review (June 2013) but the fact that I'm still writing it 5 months later proves how much I appreciated my stay there and felt I owed Kathleen and Peter this review. Tregarth Homestay was truly an idyllic little place where I could get away from the stresses of the course I was doing while in... More

Such a lovely little bed and breakfast. The hosts Kathleen and Peter are wonderful, kind and friendly. They made me a nice cup of tea with a slice of cake upon arrival which was lovely as I had been driving for 3 hours. I stayed in the single room which was very comfortable and more than enough for me staying... More

From the first step inside this B&B...you are feeling at home! Peter and Kathleen were most attentive to all our needs, wishes and beyond (They even succeeded in booking a table in a great and very busy pub)...from the beautiful, stopless rooms to the superb views, the lounge, the guests kitchen with all you could hope for...it was a real...
