We needed accommodation in Annandale close to family and found this gem. It is close to transport and fully equipped, with nothing left out that we could find. Keith and Bet are perfect hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area, including the history of Annandale. They were always within reach if we needed anything. Another plus was that... More

A very spacious, comfortable and fully, fully equipped place to stay in Sydney. Excellent hosts. Close to city (easy access by bus) but no parking hassles. Lots of local cafés & restaurants. Would be hard to better Bet's.

Sorry to Keith and Bet that this is so long in coming. New Zealand friends advised us to stay downtown so that we could walk out to the Opera House area at night. I looked for months for something reasonable in price and all that I could find was $250 rooms and no breakfast. So I went looking for B... More

Wow, thank you Cheryl and Laurence for such a glowing review. It's always a pleasure to make our guests feel at home even if we are not 'on-site', and that's the beauty of a self-contained studiio: we always try to anticipate your every need. Come back anytime you like. We'd love to see you again. More

This B&B was beautiful, spotless and very cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom had a washing machine and a dryer, I didn't think I would need it, but I was there for four days and thought why not go home with clean clothes. Bet and Keith are lovely. There is a stair case which is step, if you... More

Thanks for your review, Molly and Sal. I'm pleased that you, like many of our guests, made full use of our laundry facilities. After all, that's why they are there. There's nothing worse than heading home with a suitcase full of used clothes! We hope to see you again, next time you're in Sydney. More

We had a wonderful weekend in this charming Sydney loft apartment. It is difficult to find anything to fault as you really want for nothing! Excellent location, within walking distance to local restaurants, cafes and bars and also the foreshore walk that you can follow virtually all the way to the Sydney fish markets. Friendly owners Bet and Keith are... More

We love the description 'groovy loft'. Thanks Claire and John for the very positive review. You didn't have to travel far to enjoy your two days away, and it's good to see that you enjoyed your stay and were able to discover a little bit more about Annandale, including that early morning foreshore run. Bets B&B is one of the best hidden secrets of the inner west. I stayed for two nights in June 2014, while working nearby in Ultimo. The studio is very large, and in a completely different building to the main house, so it is also very private. It has all you need - from a kitchen, with breakfast food provided,... More

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, Daniel. We get quite a few business people, like yourself, who prefer the quiet and personalised feel of our B&B to the standard fare of a city hotel. We're extra happy that you have already re-booked. More

We wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else! This place is amazing!! The owners are so helpful but respect your space. You have your own front door which is lovely. A short bus ride to the city centre and a nice waterfront nearby to go jogging. We got a take away pizza from Crust in Annandale which was yum. Everything... More

We really appreciate it when our guests provide such wonderful feedback. Thanks Mel and Nathan. After visiting NZ you chose to stay with us at the start of your lengthy tour of Australia's east coast. We're glad you did, and we're especially pleased we met your expectations. Maybe you will return one of these days. We hope so. More

We stayed for 3 nights and are keen to return - hosts were extremmly friendly and helpful but once the formalities are over, you have complete privacy including your own entrance. The area is leafy and residential but great coffee shops and restaurants within walking. The light rail took us everywhere but we did use the bus for a trip... More

Thanks for the positive review, Maree and Richard. It's good to see that you enjoyed the cafes and restaurants of Annandale and, in particular, the convenience of the Lightrail. Yes, some of our guests take the 370 bus to Coogee Beach and we're pleased to see that you enjoyed your time there. We hope you will visit us again. More

My wife and I stayed at the Bet’s B&B for 3 nights. We were influenced by the great reviews we had read and I have to say, they were all true. Thanks, Ashoke, for the great - and long - review. We're very pleased to read that you enjoyed yourself so much during your stay at Bet's. You're like many of our guests who appreciate the separate entrance and the prepare-your-own breakfast arrangement. It was no problem to return your jacket, although you could have used it as an excuse to... More

The attention to detail in the studio is simply terrific - as well as the hospitality shown by the owners. My wife and I were looking for somewhere just out of the city for our trip in January and Annandale turned out to be just right with frequent buses into the city. I would most definitely return and we recommended... More

It's great to hear that you have already recommended Bet's B&B to family members in Adelaide. Nothing beats first-hand recommendations! Thanks also for such a positive review, David and Nicola. We can't do much about those stairs though. That's how they made them more than 100 years ago. We hope to welcome you back sometime. More
