We have been coming to Budgewoi Holiday Park for a few years now, every school holidays. It is quiet, clean, safe and friendly with beautifully kept grounds and fun activities for the kids. Xmas in July was great. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the weekend stay with my wife and 1 year old. Park was very safe, located close to pretty much everything you need (Bottle-o, multitude of takeaways, and of course, The Entrance). Cabins were very well maintained and were well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

We always stay here now. We camp at least once a year and live it. We usually have 5 kids with us and it's very safe. The kids ride their bikes around the park and we have never had an issue. Lots of activities in the holidays, short walk to the beach and shops. Overlooks the lake, has a little... More

Just had a lovely weekend at the Budgewoi holiday park. The park is in a great location, a short flat stroll from the shops and right on the lake. We stayed in an Ibis cabin and it was fantastic, there was a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and a master bedroom with a queens size bed. The bedrooms... More

We've been going to Budgewoi holiday Park for the last 5 years. Over the years the holiday Park has gotten better. The Park during school holidays have daily activities for the kids. Most is for free. Horse riding, making grass heads, sumo wrestling, mini wildlife, out door movies for the whole family in the evenings just to name a few!... More

Good campground. We stayed at a powered site looking towards the lake. Lots of amenities, open areas and dog friendly! Had a play on the lake (SUP) great fun for us and the dog. Mats at the side of the sites worked well for our tent. Not far from local shops either.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The lakeside haven that is Budgewoi has something to offer travellers and holiday makers of all sorts. Lie back and enjoy the holiday park's shady serenity in the midst of the paper bark trees that surround it. We are right on the serene Lake Munmorah, with bright blue waters that attract fishermen and water sports enthusiasts the whole year round. If water activities are not your style though, why not gather your friends for a game of football on the lake's grassy foreshore? Fry up a barbeque while the children climb on the play equipment, or simply lie back and enjoy the peace and quiet. Budgewoi Holiday Park offers a range of accommodation options. Choose from 4 types of cabins: the Ibis, the Kingfisher, the Lorikeet or the Sheerwater, all of which are centrally arranged around a grassy meeting point and some with views onto the lake. This shady field has both outdoor seating and barbeque facilities, making it ideal for large groups, such as family reunions. If you prefer to bring your caravan, there are powered sites which are available all year round. ... more   less
