it is a great location. You can ski or snowboard in and out of the hotel because it is right next to many lifts. We were lucky with nice weather and very much fresh snow - we would book this hotel again.

I planned to take my first ski course. Naeba prince hotel provided facilities : ski course, ski rental, native English coach, ski lift.... most of all... i can see ski slopes and lift through my window... amazing view day and nite!! the hotel is a weekend gateway from tokyo.. only 2 hour by shinkansen. mostly japanese tourists, rarely foreigners...... when... The rooms are fine and clean. From the hotel you can immediately get to the slopes after picking up your boots from your personal locker in the basement. There is a hotel shuttle bus from Yukawa shinkansen to the hotel. Which makes the hotel easily accessible. I took the local bus from Yuzawa to Mitsumata (also part of kagura skiarea),... More

Other reviewers say it right. 1] The skiing at Mt. Naeba is superb, which really is the main draw of the hotel. The ski field there is big with ski lifts and tracks for all levels – My sister enjoyed the advanced slopes a lot. Beginners like myself could not only ski to many places around Mt. Naeba but also... This is our 2nd visit to this hotel since our last visit a year ago. It's a great ski place especially for beginner like me. There are multiple beginner's tracks, and the best part of it is there are beginner trails that take you via the scenic Dragondola ride all the way up to the Tashiro area. There are plenty... More

We recently spent 2 nights here in order to get a final bit of snowboarding done. the hotel complex is quite vast but upon entering you can see it's extremely tired and outdated. the one positive is the convenience to the lifts and slopes and is truly ski in ski out. we stayed in a basic room in wing 4... The hotel is very large; at first it was a bit confusing with all the hotel wings and different paths but after a while, we got used to it. There are many restaurants and shops, one of our favourites was the mini convenience store, we bought yoghurt from it every night. What we found helpful was the English Ski School,... More

This super sized hotel was state of the art back in the 80's but sadly has not moved forward too much. Upon arriving, an hour early to check in (3pm) we had to wait around til 3pm or pay extra to get our room early....disappointing. We stayed on the 9th floor in Wing 4, so the lifts were right outside... More

The hotel looks grand on paper (hence setting our expectation). Most of the claims are valid. Ski-in, ski-out. It seems to be a city of its own, with many restaurants/food court, ski rental (4-5 rental shops, really?), many shops (but mostly of the same or similar mercantile). They give a ski locker with every room. Here are the run-down parts:... More

Certainly one of the best resorts ive stayed at, facilities wise speaking. They offer rentals, lockers, classes, different type of activities, suck as snow mobiles and trains for children. Wether you are a guest at the hotel or just here to skii, you will definitely enjoy this area. They also have many sports shops and dining options, in addition to... More
