The onsen is pretty easy to get to. From Echigo-Yuzawa East Entrance, u take the bus bound for Naeba, getting off at Kaikake Onsen bus stop from where u will be picked up. We went to Kaikake onsen in March last year, taking a bus from outside Echigo-Yuzawa station for about 25 min, and staff from the ryokan picked us up by the bus stop.
