this hotel is very close to the train station, we are I. Our late 50's and managed quite easily. We walked everywhere. Very quiet town not much shopping. Stayed here for two nights with the intention to visit the snow monkeys. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are big. You'll sleep in a tipically Japanese rooms wich is a nice experience. This is a Ryokan in a lovely small town close to the Snow Monkeys and the ski area. The rooms are immaculate and fastidiously clean. Kiminos are provided and add to the lovely atmosphere.
