Lovely setting very near the park entrance with chital, langur and many birds around the camp day and night. Drives into Kanha were organised and the camp drivers/naturalists were very knowledgable and excellent at spotting animals and birds on the drives. The Indian food particularly was very tasty and all the staff including the volunteers couldn't have been more friendly... More

Just being among the thicket of young trees was nice enough,as the cottages are situated among these. As our aim was to photograph wildlife in the Park which was taken care of by the camp staff all we wanted was a clean and cool place to stay in with decent food which we got.Right from the early morning wake up cup... I spent a week at Kipling Camp in January 2014. For me it was the splurge on an otherwise budget solo trip to India. It was definitely worth it. Obviously Kanha National Park is the big draw to the area, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to India. The staff at Kipling organised the safaris for... More

Don't waste your time coming to this hotel, for the same price you can get much better and for a little more a lot is available. This is one place where the accommodation is much below par. The food is terribly insipid and of poor quality. Rather than trying to be cordial there is always an excuse for every reason.... More

We booked to spend 5 nights for our family Christmas here. We were meeting up with our son who lives in Australia and flew into Delhi from the uk. We travelled by train and we're met at Jabalpur station. We wanted somewhere with the space to relax together and share an adventure. Kipling camp surpassed all expectations. There are not... More

This is my fourth stay at Kipling Camp and my first review of it. We stayed for 4 nights and were efficiently picked up and dropped off to Nagpur airport (about 250 kms away). Kipling Camp is rustic and comfortable, the way a jungle camp should be. The aesthetics and décor are perfect with not one jarring note. The shamiana... More

We had won an auction to the Kipling Camp and we drove down straight from Pune until Kanha. Right from the time we reached for a late lunch until the time we departed after 3 stunning nights we were spoilt for choice of good food, great company and a personalised service which one can experience only in a property like... There were many lovely things about this camp. One of the owners, Belinda Wright, is an ardent conservationist and I always like to support such efforts. This camp reflects basic conservation values of saving water, trying not to negatively impact the environment, etc. The location is a quiet setting in the forest with wildlife around so that was most excellent.... Kipling Camp is definitely the best jungle camp I've been to. Rustic and basic, it blends perfectly into the jungle of which it is a part. Yet the amenities it offers guests -- hot water bottles, wonderful home cooked food, excellent company provided by the manager Charles, owners Anne and Belinda Wright and of course the lovely menagerie of animals... Kipling Camp was booked by my brother-in-law for our family holiday and I must say it was one of the best holidays we've had. The Camp is located very close to the jungle and has visitors like the spotted deer (Chital) and wonderful birds. The staff is very knowledgeable about the wildlife around and a guided nature walk is an... More
