We stayed at Banjaar Tola for 4 nights in February. From the moment we arrived, the service and facilities were 5 star. Every time you arrive at the lodge from game drives you are warmly greeted by staff providing warm/cool cloths and a hot/cold beverage. The infinity pool is beautiful but very cold; great for a quick dip after a...

This east camp is really beautifull, but the practice is not always perfect like the big round wooden wall around the bed and only one lazy chair(also round). The airoc has big problems to cool down the temperature in the noon when the outside temperature is around 40 degrees.
The cook mr. Nim was the best we met during our...

This lodge looks gorgeous, but it's not easy to stay in. The circle theme is carried to the extreme, which looks great in Architecture Digest, but not to live in. The platform bed is surrounded by a huge circle of wood, at point more than a foot wide. So getting into and out of bed requires kneeling on a wooden...

Getting here is not easy, we drove from Raipur which is about 4-5 hours over what starts out as a good dual carriageway, changes to very long roadworks as they upgrade the track and then settles down to a poorly maintained single strip of metal which results in lots of bouncing onto the verge to avoid lorries which give way...

We went to Banjaar Tola on 30th Dec, 2011 to celebrate our New Year with friends, it was a awesome experience for us to stay in this property and I find this product the best among Taj Hotels.
The welcome was done by such a great generosity, I had stayed in many hotels & resorts but the experience discovered in...

My husband & me went to Banjar Tola in thee last week of Dec'11 and stayed there for 5 days, after hearing a lot about the Taj Safaris. It was a very good experience, esp for me, as it was my first ever Jungle experience. The trip from Raipur airport to Kanha was terrible, thanks to the pathetic road condition...

Read our review about the Mahua Kothi lodge for an overview of what this Taj Safaris experience is like.
I'll restrict my comments here to some specifics about Banjaar Tola.
Everything wonderful that Mahua Kothi was in terms of the physical plant, Banjaar Tola is not.
This is an ill-conceived (tents), poorly executed (shoddy building) joke of a "luxury experience"....
