Peter and I had a wonderful day of concentrated, creative work at his Home Farm House, a nice, historic building in the English countryside close to London. He and his wife, Melanie, are wonderful hosts, providing an atmosphere and personal care that makes you feel at home rather than just staying somewhere. I would like to highly recommend a stay... We really enjoyed our stay at the Farm House, the individiual rooms, the lovely Garden, the healthy food and the kindness of Melanie and Peter and their family, who were so helpful in many ways. So if you would like to get a great impression of lovely Oxfordshire, the Farm House is a good choice to start with.

My wife and I stayed at Home Farm House a few weeks ago. It is a beautiful house, set in an ideal location and within easy walking distance of good pubs and a good curry house! The hosts, Peter and Melanie, catered for our every need and the breakfast was perfect!

We decided to break up our journey from Cumbria to Cornwall with a stay at Home Farm House and a great decision it turned out to be. We received a very warm welcome from Peter and Mel and immediately all felt very comfortable. The whole experience was positive, Peter and Mel obviously make a huge effort to ensure your stay... I stayed here recently on a business trip and was thouroughly well looked after in a beautiful home. The family owned and run 'home house' is a really relaxed and welcoming feeling and served an excellent full English breakfast. Really nice local pub for dinner is only a few minutes walk. I would recommend this to anyone needing accomodation in... More

Thanks to Melanie and Peter for a very pleasant and hospitable stay. The property is beautiful and the full English breakfast highly recommended. This is a great place to stay whether on business or for a break in Oxfordshire.

Stay was highly enjoyable as well as relaxing. This 600 years old house, full of charm and character is a harbor of peace and quietness. Plentful breakfast. Warm welcome by the houselords made this stay unforgettable. I am already looking forward my next stay in Oxfordshire.

I stayed one night on a business trip. This is a fascinating place (600 years old?) in which to stay run by a most hospitable yet unfussy couple. Situated opposite the village cricket green, it is a characterful family home now offering a charming bed and breakfast experience. My double room was full of character, most comfortable (with en suite... More

At home Farm you enjoy comfortable beds in a charming old property on the Steventon Green. Everyone is friendly, from Melanie and Peter Miller-Smith who run the place to their children and dog, Tarka. Tarka knows not to bother the guests but if you warm to her she is only too pleased to be friendly. I highly recommend Home Farm... More

We stayed one night in May 2012. The house is lovely, full of character and books. The hosts were welcoming, the room was great, and had a good variety of tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities, and the ensuite bathroom was warm and well equipped with a lovely deep bath and plenty of hot water. It's in a great position right opposite the... More
