We stayed last weekend at the Lands of Loyal Hotel as we were golfing and visiting family in the area. We arrived at 6-ish and our family were joining us for dinner at 7pm. Having rushed to get there it was a joy to have a seamless check-in and a nice welcome. A member of staff arrived quickly to take... More

Booked a private room for my Dad's 70th Birthday in June. We had lunch for 22 which was absolutely delicious, he had a lovely day. My mum and him also stayed the night which was a surprise present from my brother and I. The service was so friendly and efficient , we can't thank you enough.

After looking at a few hotels in this area we were accommodated in the Lands of Loyal, Aylth. Despite the hotel being fully booked they managed to offer us a room in their converted Coach House. They did explain to us that there was a wedding planned for the second night of our stay, so we would be unable to... More

My partner and I stayed at the Lands of Loyal to celebrate my 50th birthday back in May 2014. On arrival we were totally blown away as we walked through the door into the main hall/lounge it really is quite breathtaking, the open fire. the period features throughout, the decor, absolutely everything was fabulous. Been a long time since we visited Lands of Loyal but we had a get together the other weekend a dozen or so of us had one of the dining rooms privately to ourselves. Was extremely relaxed, food and wine were excellent, with nothing to much trouble for the staff. A very special place which an atmosphere that is quite... More

A very unassuming entrance gives way suddenly to a fantastic main lounge complete with roaring fire - a very warm welcome in more senses than one. The reception and restaurant staff could not have been more accommodating an de certainly felt valued guests. A great place to bring friends for a relaxing weekend eating good food in a relaxed country... More

I live quite locally and have only ever had a few evening meals here in the past. My old friend was visiting from Yorkshire this week and as the weather has been wonderful I decided to treat her to a light lunch at this beautiful hotel. She was truly impressed with the grand old hall. I didnt expect to see... More

We enjoyed the view, the gardens, the quiet, comfortable room and the friendly staff, eager to please. We appreciated less the very poor lighting in the room. But the main problem came when, after telling the staff we were going our for the evening, we arrived back at 10.30pm to find the front door locked and no doorbell. After we... More

We stayed at Lands of Loyal again in June 2014, this time with our 15month old daughter which adds complications when travelling. Lands of Loyal were great again. Lots of help getting into the room, good cot available, high chair for meals, good selection for our daughter, plus they were happy to make changes to the menu and do special... More
