Everything was so good I don't know where to start!! I have stayed in over 60 B&Bs so I think I can make an unbiased review. This is TOPS you are welcomed so sincerely and the hospitality begins with a welcome cup of tea and biscuits in the residents lounge where you can ask all the questions you want about... More

We had a twin room at the back which was spotlessly clean, well equipped and lovely and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone. The home made preserves were really great. Eileen and Bill looked after us really well.

We found this place by chance as the hotel we had planned to stay at was full, in a way we are glad it was because we would not have found "The Old Stables" and the amazing Eileen and Bill who make you feel so welcome and at home from the moment you meet them. We had only planned to... More

Stayed here a few times on tour. Eilean always gives a good welcome, good breakfast with home made jam (this is berry country). The B&B gets a good few people walking the Cateran Trail. Rooms have a homely feel down to the fact that Bill and Eilean converted the house themselves twenty odd years ago. Rooms always clean. We've stayed... More

We felt like part of the family, a home from home. The breakfast was tremendous and the home made jam was especially great. The room was extremely comfortable and the living areas welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back soon.

What a top spot. Lovely place, lovely location, lovely breakfast, and the best thing ... absolutely lovely people. Without doubt one of the best B&Bs we stayed at in Scotland. Ideal as a base to tour around the highlands from. And only a stones throw from the Lands of Loyal hotel; a great place to dine.

I had booked in advance - mainly due to the good reports for this B & B but was rather disappointed. The decor was old and dated and looked rather "tired" and could have done with a good clean. I would not return and would not recommend.

The biggest bedroom with the longest picture window and an en suite with the biggest spa bath! We have just completed a tour staying at 8 of Scotland's top rated B & B s and Bill and Eileen can hold their heads high. Just before we left Portugal, a very negative review was posted, but you will know how to... More

We have for the past 7 years come to blairgowrie for a vintage motorcycle rally, each time staying at the old stables with Eileen and bill. We booked blind the first year but after that stay when we were made so welcome and our accommodation in the toftin apartment so comfortable we book up for next year as we leave!!... More
