On way back from West Midlands safari park we pulled in at this place and we were glad we did. There are 2 menus, tapas and a la Carte. We used both and everything was perfectly cooked, from the steak to the chicken. The kids meals were quality too. No processed rubbish. The surroundings have the olde world charm you'd... More

Our party had all three rooms. Each room was very comfortable and had four poster beds. The en suite facilities were very good. The evening meal was extremely good and cooked by a French chef who is also the owner. The menu was varied and reasonably priced as was the wine. The staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was... More

My cousins and their friends took us to this Inn for a farewell meal and drink shortly before we headed back to London in preparation for our return to Melbourne, Australia. What a fitting finale. The place was steeped in history and we can only look in awe at a place so old but still in such great condition. The... More

Excellent Sunday lunch for Dads Birthday , we all enjoyed three courses, good choices on the menu, I tried the Smoked Salmon, Excellent, followed by Roast Sirloin Beef (medium cooked) with all the trimming again excellent, and then followed by the Chocolate Volcano, great, good portion sizes, Lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent service. Definitely must try the A La Ca rte... More

We have previously stayed hear and could not fault the service, food and accommodation, we decided to visit again and have an evening meal and were disappointed, the scallops were warm not hot, having eaten them and given feedback to the waitress, the manager came to explain that was how the chief cooked them to ensure they were not over... Booked a Table here to celebrate our sons Birthday. A lovely evening, first class service, really good food and drink, but what really made the night for me was the attention to detail given by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and working tirelessly to make our evening one to remember. I definitely will recommend this place to others.

Had a very nice stay, albeit a short one night only. Jean and David were great hosts and the room and breakfast were superb. Wonderful place full of character. We stayed there as we were going to the local theatre. David dropped us off and picked us up afterwards for no extra charge. Great customer care. We will definitely stay... More

We heard The Peacock did a quiz on Thursday nights, so decided we would give it a go on the last night of our week's stay in the area, and have some dinner while we were there. Seven of us arrived and received a very pleasant welcome - we were seated and given menus to look at and were invited... More

This coach inn was recommended to us by a friend and what a good recommendation it was. Set in beautiful surroundings and just outside Tenbury Wells market town. The staff are friendly but not over powering and knowledgeable about the local amenities. I must give a mention to David. We were unable to book a taxi to visit Tenbury which... More

I am always concerned that writing a good review may lead to the venue being over booked next time I visit or too expensive because it has become too popular, but The Peacock certainly deserves one. Firstly the atmosphere and ambiance is both welcoming and comfortable, the epitome of a traditional English coaching Inn with dangerously low ceilings with huge... More
