The hotel lacks any charm...it ranks more as a business hotel. There is a Don Peperone attached which served breakfast...as others have commented, it was probably the worst breakfast on our trip. The staff could care less, and there is zero atmosphere. The hotel is ok...the room was clean but on the small side. The pool was green,,,not sure if... More

Mercedes is not necessarily a tourist town, but we liked the atmosphere of the town and the river front and actually enjoyed our stay there. We stayed for two nights during the “Jazz a la Calle” festival in January, which made Mercedes probably livelier than normal. The choice regarding the Brisas del Hum, was pretty easy. It has a perfect... More

We stayed here one night on our return from Punta del Este. The hotel is nice and the hotel staff are lovely however the restaurant beside is a disgrace. We found out after that it's franchised out and there have been many problems due to this. We experienced first hand as the staff in the restaurant were rude and really... More

Mercedes is very short on hotel rooms and moreso restaurant tables. This hotel is in the city square and was re - done with a lick of paint only too many years ago. It is not a holiday place, despite an outside pool by the car park, and the room are small 70s or 80s style; shower curtains; mould around... More

Downtown location. There is only one hotel by the riverside and it was not very nice. As bad as this was, it was the best we found and we looked at the top 4. Reception – efficient and short. There is a friendly tourist office by the riverside. Décor modern with the sink in the bedroom and the rest of... More

Spent Easter weekend in one of the few decent hotels in Mercedes. We managed a discount and received a double room facing the park for the price of one facing the inner pool. The room smelled of mold even while the windows were left open. The room was smallish yet comfortable. If you spent too much time in the shower,... More

The location of the hotel is wonderful as you are right on the main plaza in town and just a short walk to the river. The room was small and comfortable, but was nothing special or interesting. There are some lovely views from some of the terraces from the hallways although our room did not have a balcony or terrace.... More

We stayed in room 117 on the first floor and our friends stayed in 311. Lucky we only had one bag as the rooms are quite small. They have been remodeled, as has the whole hotel. It was clean, modern and functional, but small and a bit uninspired. Both rooms smelled musty but in both cases this cleared after a... More

Allthough clean, comfortable and spacious, it lacks caractor. Breakfast is served next door in the Don Peperone restaurant and it has ample parking in the rear. Nicely situated on the plaza diaconal across from the beautifull cathedral.

Good location. Convenient parking in their own courtyard. Modern place, international style. Very good breakfast in the restaurant next door. Only negative thing is the gym. The treadmills are either broken or make a lot of noice and can not maintain pace. But, if you're not have to make use of those facilities, this is an excellent place.
